Not giving up even when you can’t write

Success doesn’t come easy. Success is random. Sometimes, it doesn’t even come.

Yes, that sucks, but that’s how life is, whether you like it or not.

Recently I read a very famous entrepreneur — I’m forgetting the name — that success is as much as about hard work and persistence as it is about luck.

This story is the same, it is not just peculiar to writing.

What if he had quit in the 4th month, or the 5th month?

He wouldn’t have experienced the sort of success that he is experiencing now.

All that effort was worth it.

Putting in that much effort, day after day, week after week, and month after month, when every atom of your body and mind is begging you to quit…

I don’t care much about being politically correct. Things are just right or wrong and yes, sometimes there are grey areas in this is why we write, don’t we?
