Have you ever thought about how your daily habits affect your writing?

They are more connected than we like to think.

Your lifestyle habits shape your writing habits.

The way you spend your day reflects in the words you put down .

For me, this connection became painfully clear when my writing started to suffer.

I didn’t lose interest in writing, nor did my creativity fade away.

It was just that my mind felt too cluttered, too tired, and sometimes, too unfocused to express what I wanted.

It took me a while to realize that it was my lifestyle that was holding me back.

One major problem for me was my sleep routine.

Being physically disabled means I rely on others to help me get in and out of bed.

Their schedule often becomes my schedule, making a consistent sleep pattern tricky.

But that was just one of the issues.

As I looked around, I noticed other small habits, not just mine, but common to many writers, that could be the culprits behind sluggish writing.
